Vogelbach went yard again today. He now has 6 HRs and is hitting an incredible .388/.500/.878 in the Spring.

So he is the hottest hitter, Healy is guaranteed the 1B job, and Ford has to stay or risk losing him. 3 1B's is a great way to build a roster...

Tough situation, I like Ford and we have minimal talent in our farm system so he'd be valuable to keep. I think he's currently ranked #10 or something in our system.

We need to send them some low level talent to keep him. They don't need him.

Hello to all!!! Just moved over from the Mariner's shut down forum. Glad to find this site so I can still follow other folks and their take on things. (The only one I recognize is NWinAZ and hello to you) Happy with Vogelbach's performance in ST. Was not a fan of his last at all last season but looks like he's lost some pounds and has a great attitude the year. Hope to see it continue and see more of him.

I am glad there was a day or so warning from the other. We have great people on here that may not always agree with each other, but we have great debates and conversations. Welcome.

Welcome!

Always good to see new faces around here.

The two that joined up here from MLB are fun and just like most of us on here. They both will fit in real well. The more misery the better...

I don't blame JD for going all in on Ohtani attempting to obtain as much international money as possible, but that really did blow up in our face. Especially considering we didn't land any of those Atlanta prospects.

I'm excited to see how Gordon does... Seems like he's adapting very well to CF... He could tally up the runs in bunches this season...

Dude has had some great throws. That was probably everyone's biggest concern. He definitely has the athleticism to play CF and it seems like he is doing a great job.

This always made more sense than signing Ichiro...

Position competition

Another player quietly putting himself into contention for a roster spot should Ichiro Suzuki not be ready to go by Opening Day, is veteran outfielder Kirk Nieuwenhuis, who hit his third home run in the past four games with an opposite field, two-run shot in the eighth inning.

zunino had a huge spring a few years ago and then hit .165 in the regular season. I don't think Vogelbach is going to hit .165, but he's also never going to make us feel like we won the Mike Montgomery trade.
