Ok, now that is PR. If Ichiro is playing that many days a week, Jerry needs to be fired on the spot. I'm basing my judgement on that Ichiro is at most a role player, if they are relying on him to be a contributor then ya, he needs to open up the wallet and get a guy who can start.

Haha, not dark side. You know I will take every chance I get to bash Dipoto. I still am on the island of Ichiro isn't as horrible as most think for the team but if their plan is really to use him 6 days a week they might as well shop Cruz, Seager, Segura, Gordon and Paxton now and not wait until July.

I think I can give Dipoto a break on this Ichiro thing because I'm pretty convinced it wasn't his idea. He has to say the right thing but this is all ownership Im pretty convinced.

I was able to watch one of his AB's and was massively surprised how much different his approach was, at least during that AB.

I think I can give Dipoto a break on this Ichiro thing because I'm pretty convinced it wasn't his idea. He has to say the right thing but this is all ownership Im pretty convinced.

He said on an interview that he had been pursuing him since November. For that reason, I would have to say he had a big part in the deal. Normally I would be the first to blame ownership, but I am leaning towards 75% DIP and 25% ownership.I could be wrong.

I hope he has changed his approach. Even in Tacoma he'd wait until he had two strikes on him. But he would still rip the ball but the majors are obviously different where you can't be behind in the count all the time. I get the Edgar approach but if Edgar got his pitch on the first pitch he'd swing at it.
