Tapey
Hooplas biggest Cardinals homer.
Why would we need to when we have all this depth?Could this force them to sign a Lynn, Arrieta, or Cobb?

X-rays on Felix Hernandez's right forearm came back negative.
Whew. Hernandez was struck on the upper right forearm by a line drive off the bat of the Cubs' Victor Caratini on Monday and fell to the ground in immediate pain, but appears he's avoided a serious injury. The Mariners will continue to re-evaluate him on a day-to-day basis before determining when he'll be able to pitch again.
This team is fucking cursed and having a difficult time pin-pointing where and how they can be so. Perhaps they were destined to move, but still remained here. Who knows.
Either way, if you haven't see the video. Don't. It does not look good at all for Felix.
I was thinking the same thing! This could be a blessing in disguise to be honest, however I doubt Dip does anything. He simply doesn't realize how thin the rotation is and it is going to kill us.
Non Mariners News. Schwarber came ready!
Meanwhile Moore is getting lit up like a Christmas Tree. At least no talented guy is being signed to block him though
Yea I'd even say his stuff is below average so he will need to have pinpoint control to be anything. Could happen but we will see. It doesn't help when you have a GM who converts him into a long reliever two months after his MLB debut. Did the same thing with Povse too. I just question everything about the way this organization is handling starting pitching.I never understood why he is considered a prospect. His stuff is average. At best he is a #5 starter, but even that is pushing it IMO.
