I vote to honor Adam Gotsis at 99!

At least you learned how to spell Gotsis name.

No one will sign him until he is healthy we said we're not interested but we have an injury around the time he is ready to go he will then be interesting. He is okay not great. not sure why two years ago late he started to show a little something, not to show much at all last year.

Someone should put up the appreciation thread because we have moved on.

I don't want to burst your bubble, but have ever heard of a guy by the name of Belichick? He's the Head Coach/GM/President of Football of the New England Patriots and has signed broken players every year since 2009. Some of the broken toys he's bought are Rob Gronkowski, David Andrews, Sony Michele, Isiah Wynn to name just a few. The last thing any GM wants to do is cut a damaged toy who BB thinks that he can mend with duct tape and Gorilla Glue.

Well if the Patriots want Gotsis then I would say have fun. He is a backup caliber player.

Bausby cut lose surprised me. If the Broncos figure they will have a group of CBs in enough depth Bausby won't make the team - I like that. Presumably, Bausby will have more time to find a suitable opportunity with another team (and if not be available for the Broncos later).

Looks like good chance Wilkinson is viewed as that starting RG right now.

They still want to bring him back. They just didn't want to pay him as much as a tender would cost. His injury history and limited playing time this past year make them think he can be had for less.

well yes and no.

The end of the season two years ago he was looking way better than last year so. I would call him a boarder line Starter and in the right system, he just might shine.

He is what he is starting out you are right one year deal back up pay.

I didn't say he was a bad backup. I think he got a bad rap this past year because of the struggles against the run and him getting benched and it improving right away. He wasn't the biggest or only issue of why that struggle was happening. I would say the change at linebacker from Nelson to Johnson had a bigger impact on helping the run game and also going from Shelby at NT to Purcell more so than Harris replacing Gotsis.

Still Gotsis is limited to more of a 2-gap run defender at this point in his career. I think he is what he has shown. Just never quite lived up to the hype.

Broncos are willing to move up to get their guy. They have locked in on Ruggs being who they want.

That seems excessive to me but I get why they like him .

I don't like moving up for him what so ever. If he could get off the line of Scrimmage without gimmick play I would like him.

He was not a starter for a reason.

I like Ruggs, but don't see the sense in moving up to get him. I think Ruggs may be the cover story for why they are feeling out teams about moving up. Then again - I am often wrong.

Yeah I think if they trade up it will be for him. I don't think they will overpay to do it though. If all it costs is one of our 3rd round picks to secure the guy they want then I don't see a ton of harm in doing something like that.

I would say it depends on what they have to trade to get him. IF it is our 1st and 2nd round pick then yes that is excessive. If it is just one of our 3rd round picks then I don't see that as a huge loss and potentially could be a huge gain.

I meant it as a funny point but BB has historically taken chances on a lot of damaged college players. He's been lucky with many but really paid badly for others. Look the IR list and you'll see four rookies from last year. Will they make the team in 2020? I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

I agree that we shouldn't move up for him. I like him, but this WR class is loaded. I also think someone may fall in love with him before we pick, though. But if it pushes Jeudy or Lamb down to us, I would be OK with that.
