LOL - the James and Callahan contracts weren't bad because of the terms of the contract - they were bad because of the lack of due diligence in talent acquisition - especially in the medical examination part of it. So this guy is what you call a Sacrificial Goat.

It does seem like the Broncos are gearing up for a roster do over.

Allbright said the front office is unhappy with what they perceive to be "losing" on a lot of recent contract negotiations. Also were not happy about being unable to secure injury "out"s for recent FA signings. They already have a replacement in mind and will make a hire quickly (obviously pressing with free agency upcoming).

From what I understand there were a few reasons for not renewing the contract of Mike Sullivan. The first being there were some disagreements about contract structure that have gotten the Broncos in some trouble recently cap wise.

The second though dealt more with Mike Sullivan himself. He came and asked about being given more responsibility with the team and right now the Broncos really like the structure they have set up. So they didn't renew his contract as a way to let him explore other options.

They do have somebody in mind to replace him and that announcement should happen rather quickly considering the Combine is where a lot of contract talk happens.

Elway as of late has been hammered some on FA....

I was pissed that we did not sign Paradis back. Well, the tape that was in at the end of the season was not well for him so Elway might have been right. time will tell. My guess on this we got better play this year the way we went no telling for sure

He did play the whole season I believe .

the new guy is from CAA and worked with eagles and Matt Russell in philly
