I don't feel it's going overboard myself. As I said the Seahawks need better results than they got from the players at LG, C and RG. That wasn't NFL starting play at those positions last season and the line is only as strong as the weakest link.mean agreed, but I don't think you need to go THAT overboard on OL.
I won't hate having those players, matter of preference I guess. Booker just seems more of a gap blocker, Zabel excels at either and he's a better athlete which is why he grades out so well in zone blocking. Egbuka is more of what the Seahawks already have while Higgins is a classic X wide receiver, which is what is missing on the roster.End of day I'd be happier with Booker and Egbuka
End of the day I want to see a serious commitment to upgrading the OL. Doesn't have to be Zabel (he's just my favorite), it could be Booker could be someone else. What I don't want to see is JS waiting until pick 50 or even later (Lord knows JS hasn't come close to taking IOL that early and the play and results show it) and settling for backup or developmental type and maybe take two of those at some point so he can claim he's addressed the problem, will really get me ticked off. It's doing the same shit and expecting different results, that's plum stupid.
