I think Dart ends up being the best QB in this draft when its all said and done. But thats my opinion and that isn't worth anything. I saw a handfull of his games the past 2 years and just liked what i saw. He is a gamer, now just needs to continue to improve like he had been doing. When the talking heads were saying 3rd to 5th round durning the season i was like OH HELL YEAH lets grab this stud!
This could be the draft where no QB amounts to anything

Oh i agree but if one does i have a feeling it will be Dart. Sanders and Ward will be gimmick QB's. Both of them hold the ball way too long and tend to make most of their plays off schedule, They don't work will in a structured offense.

Howard is prob. the best plug and play. He's IMO the most pro ready. From what I gathered he has a ceiling so you may just get an average 'game manager' QB, but build your team around him and you could do something. He's not a guy that is prob. going to takeover games but I think it's maybe kind of like Darnold/McCarthy in Minny. Surround him with some good talent and you should be able to put playoff run together down the stretch.

According to the Athletic this is what the Seahawks fans want from the draft:

Not sure I'm excited about Ewers, but otherwise love this draft.

Swap Ewers with a nose tackle and I'm happier. With Lock signing and Howell being as cheap as he is, I can't imagine Seattle goes for a QB here unless someone takes a dive.

I might be the only one to say this as well, I think that's a bit of overkill on the OL. I guess we're just giving up on Haynes and Olu? That's annoying especially since Haynes was an earlier 3rd rounder... wtf did we draft him for then? All he knows is ZBS wide, which is what we're running.

Also, I'd be fine with Zabel, whatever.. but I'd rather just have Booker. We need a mauler at guard and someone to literally get us 3rd or 4th and 1.. we prob. lost two games last year because our OL just couldn't push at all. I get we're balls deep in ZBS, but sorry - sometimes you just need a guy that can push someone back and tell your OL to stop being a bunch of pussies. That's Booker (or Membou which I'd be FINE to trade up for). And Booker is not going to be running 10 yards up the field, but he's got quickness in his step.

Perfect world for me, scenario 1: We trade up and get Membou.
Perfect world for me, scenario 2: We trade down only to move back up (not sacrificing too much capital) and end up with Egbuka and Booker. That's two instant LEADERS on the offense. I know Egbuka is a lot like Kupp/JSN (although JSN played on the outside fine), but so what? Kupp is prob. a 1 year rental and Egbuka's leadership/attitude is what Seattle's O needs.

I just have this feeling if we take Zabel (great athleticism, good ZBS fit granted, but he's a bit more finesse) he'll get pushed around at times and we'll struggle to just move a DL. Meanwhile watch someone like the Ravens take Booker and just mow down DLs.

i dont think there is any way they take 3 OL in the top 4 picks

I don't see it either, and frankly I think it's overkill. Starting 1 rookie at OL let alone 3 is insane... Olu wasn't HORRIBLE last year, and Haynes doesn't have the best bulk/size but he has very good ZBS technique.

I'm not a HUGE Zabel fan. I get he has great athleticism and quickness, I just see him potentially getting pushed around. Not at 18. If he's there at 50, fine. I mean if Seattle takes him at 18 I wont be upset.. but I'll be a little underwhelmed. If we take Booker at 18 (who I've always wanted) I'd be more excited - because now the probability of us getting stuffed on 3rd and 1 and then on 4th and inches (Rams game) goes down.

Pick 81 which is not early 3rd, more like middle of the round.
Well fair, but still.. and Haynes actually fits what Kubiak wants to do. Should make him all the more a starter.

Doesn't seem like a JS move for sure, but it is investing in the trenches which is what you say they should do.
