Butler was developed into the player he is no one saw butler being as good as he is. Maybe thibs sees something that in LaVine that he saw in butler when he developed him.

yah i mean i guess its different if you really believe in dunn and lavine. Its a good point

I just see Butler- a 26 year old all star on a great contract- and he is one of the best wing defenders in the nba- which is just insanely valuable...at plays SF which is not an easy position to fill...he instantly becomes the guy that covers Durant, and Leonard and prob even Klay...

to give up LaVine who really doesnt even have an ideal position, and Dunn- a rookie that we have never seen play- does not seem to be too much for a player of Butler's caliber.
