I do agree about the defense. I think he would still find a way to score if the situation were different is all I am saying. He was smart enough to make his one legged fade nearly indefensible by using his height to his advantage there. I remember a sports science about that.

Kobe is much shorter but he can still rise up and get those shots off.

My point remains, he would not have anywhere close to the same impact if he wasn't 7 feet tall, b/c he wouldn't be athletic enough to rise up like a Kobe Bryant

Being 7feet and shooting like he does are essentially his only gifts, without one, the other becomes useless

B/c if he wasn't able to shoot, he'd be a poor post defender that doesn't rebound very well, making him pretty useless as a big man

Ooops... Back to baseball..

Gotta love that batting eye on Choo, that was a really close pitch

And I can't believe Danks is only 28, it does seem lik he's been around forever

:agree:....on both. I'd lost a beer bet on Danks being 28, I promise ya that.

Does anyone know why Choo ditched the double-ear flap batting helmet? He wore one earlier in spring

That's the first AB I've gotten to see from Choo and it's a double. Nice.

Nick Franklin will be turning 8 this year, so maybe he will go to the normal helmet too.

As long as its not that ridiculous gigantic helmet David Wright used a few years ago. Dude looked like he just walked off the Spaceballs set.

Our announcers are extremely complimentary of how good an OF Lillibridge is. And Kouzmanoff made a real nice play at 3rd.

Cut-down time is going to be interesting for the Rangers it seems.
