I've always liked him, think he missed most of last year with a fractured elbow or something like that

If I've seen him before I don't remember, but my memory isn't that great. We've had him for awhile if we got him in the Salty deal. He has good control for a AA pitcher.

If you don't like him DHing, then he has no business whatsoever being on this team.

In all fairness he should be the 1B, b/c if the argument is that Choice should be in LF and Choo at DH, that goes triple for Fielder

Fielder makes Choo look like a Gold Glover

He's got big time talent. He's just very very raw.

You probably were also one of those people saying we should trade Perez because he's been with the club so long and he just wasn't going to figure out out.

Such long arguments about trading him back in the day, so glad we didn't give up Perez for Lee

Seems that was what they said about Davis. They want to avoid that same mistake but he has to make it now or never.

And Davis would have never made it here.

Nope, Perez is still a kid . I always like him from the day I saw him pitch at 17 years old in hickory . Moreland is 29 .

Yeah I know but they want to make sure of Mitch. This is likely his last year. Plus we had no one to back up Fielder earlier.
