Speculation (which ran through my head) that getting Goc was a move to have a third line C to replace Sutter if he's moved in Kesler deal, then have Kesler play on Sid's wing. Speculation is speculatory.

/Kesler is gonna wanna play top 6 minutes ... hes not going to be a 3rd line centre on the team hes traded to ... his ego wont allow it ... but will his ego allow him to settle in at wing? probably if its riding shotgun with Geno or Sid

Eh, Staal played 20+ minutes a night as a 'third line center' maybe his ego won't allow it, but it seems kind of ridiculous.
