I could pick a player or 2 but I do believe with a new era of football minds on both sides I think we'll see improved play on both sides of the ball. Of course it's still a work in progress so I'm not saying SB here we come but WC contention if the lines can stay healthy and Walker also staying healthy. Geno I think can also preform better under Grubb's system.

I think the team being in WC contention is the top end this coming season, The very best they could do. To much will be changing and it's going to take a little time before the players are just playing and not thinking to much, in other words they are comfortable and are just reacting. This always costs you a few games. I'll make a guess that the defense will look improved but will be in that 19-24 range. The offense is something i can't even make a guess on. One of our biggest issues last year was we didn't run the ball. It's not like we couldn't we just didn't. Grubb's running offense is a 2nd thought in his design so i worry A LOT about it. Lets be real the Huskies were ranked 200th in rushing last year but 100th in attempts. TWO HUNDREDTH! lol Thats not inspiring.

Agreed the WC being top end which I'm fine with. The rebuild of the defense needs another year or two of solid draft picks. The offense should be more productive as I like to believe Grubb has a better philosophy on how to run an offense and yes hopefully can get a run game going.

WC as our ceiling is hard to argue at this point.... If we don't reach the postseason, I could see us having a higher TO on this team than we've had in a while... After a year of reviewing the players on the roster, Mike's going to want to get HIS players that fit his system imo... I think we're still 2-3 years away from being a serious contender...

Jeff Bazos selling off 5 billion Amazon stock ... Forbes prices the Seahawks as worth 5 Billion.....

could Bazos buy his home town team? Amazon Stadium? Welcome to the Jungle Seahawks fans.

Well if it happened the Hawks would have the richest owner in the NFL. Only Elon Musk is worth more than Bazos. Would the NFL block such a move because Amazon owns the rights to Thursday night game broadcasts? Only time will tell.

What is your take and would you like the move? I could see a LOT of changes with the training facility and stadium and getting force fed Amazon everywhere. Im not sure i would like the move, not sure i could trust Bazos to not sell or move the team. Not saying he would but that guy is all about profit and nothing else matters, Even if it's ripping the heart away from Seattle.

The only thing I know is if Jeffrey bought and wanted to move the team, I don't believe he would get the votes for that approval.

I dunno if Jody would sell... after the moves Seattle just made, it makes me think she's not interested. I know $5B is a ton, but it's not like Jody has any cash problems lol.

I would rather see Bezos buy the Mariners and get that shitty ownership out of place.

For some reason they just do not want to spend money on the team. They look at it as just a business and the lower the payroll the better the profit. They don't care about the fans or winning. They will always get their "TV" Revenue even if the Mariners stink and right now that offense is the worst i have EVER seen. Sad when your best hitter is hitting something like .247. Hell Most teams have 5 or more guys hitting ABOVE that. Isnt the league average above that also? Like .250? best hitter and star isn't even average.

while i dont really want bezos to buy the team, who else locally could afford it?
it would be better if it just stayed in the Allen family's control.

Jamal Adams signs with Tennessee... at least we are confirmed 100% moved on from him.

weird how it didn't work out he was very talented with the Jets and it never manifested with us. I am glad he didn't go to the 49ers I know there were rumors of that happening.

I say we stop giving up #1 picks in trades for current players... I'm ok if we do it to move up in the draft or something but we've been bitten far too many times in the butt when trading high picks for current players... Doesn't ever seem to work out regards to the value we give up and the ROI...

I mean Percy Harvin was a headcase... barely played for us. I guess he put the nail in the coffin with our only Super Bowl so there was that, at least.

Jimmy Graham got injured and was completely misused (they tried to have him start blocking, wtf?)
Jamal Adams got injured and was partially misused (dropping him deep in coverage, etc.) - he made AP2 team his first year with us...

But yah, our first round trades have been quite costly (also gave up the best Center this team had in years with Unger) over the Carroll years.

Yeah, no kidding. We've made out well when we have sent players for 1st round picks, but it really hasn't worked the other way. I wouldn't mind if we never see one of those type deals again.

And don't forget the Deion Branch trade. Another awful one. Just stop trading 1st rounders for someone else's player. It just doesn't work.

Well yah, that was in the Holmgren era - but I hear ya. It was another 1st round trade blunder.

At least trading Wilson was correct. That really worked out well for us. Mafe, Witherspoon, Cross, and Hall...

I know Hall hasn't gotten a lot of playing time (why I dunno) but hopefully MacDonald can work with him and fix him up.

Jamal Adams Rushed the QB almost 9 times PER game in his second season and had ZERO sacks his 2nd season. He rushed the QB almost 10 times per game his first saeason. He wasn't miss used he just wasn't a Safety and the ONLY reason he had so many sacks his first season is NO ONE had ever seen a Safety be used like that. Teams caught on and it was really easy to block him. He just wasn't that good PERIOD. Also he was to small and to brittle to play Linebacker. He would get pushed around by pass catching TE's blocking him.

The Rick Mirer and Joey Galloway trades worked out for us as well... But not for the Bears or Cowboys...
