One of the absolute finest guitarists ever vs one of the absolute finest drummers ever.

I Love Stevie Ray Vaughn, I cringe when I hear most Rush songs. Not because I think they were untalented but because their flavor does not match my taste.

But Peart is not Rush, and Rush is not Peart. Peart is Peart, or at least was.

Peart wins this one for me.

Peart wins this one for me.

Again I am very torn on this SRV is my all time #1 and while my favorite all time drummer is Carl Palmer I do feel Peart and Bonham and the best ever 1A and 1B. I'll hold my vote till later if a tie break is needed.

I played rudimental bass drum in Drum & Bugle Corps until I took over as the Drum Major and Music Director. Love drums.

Stevie ray amazes me that he can move his fingers that fast and never miss a note.
