I think they are not sold on either QB. I am not, sold on either of them. They will be a dumpster fire next season. They will be drafting their next QB in the 2020 draft. If they are smart, they use these picks to start getting pieces for that player.
As an Eagles fan, I am going to enjoy watching that mess next season.

Yeah the Giants are going to be bad next year. I hope Saquon is ready for 425+ touches.

Haskins has been linked to them ever since he announced he was entering the draft, but I saw this morning where they may not be looking at him. Of course, it's the season of deception, so this could be said for the simple fact that they don't want to have to trade up to get him. Haskins would fit their offense well I think, but it all comes down to looking at the future and doing what they think is best. If they think Fromm or Tua would be better, then they're in good shape to pick up some major pieces this year. The #6 pick would be a prime spot to grab a DE to replace Olivier, and #17 would be prime to pick up one of the top WRs, so you can't knock that approach.

Yep could be a bad move but you take your chances at a top 3 WR in the league when healthy. Him and Jarvis have chemistry too

Most giant fans are very disappointed with this move. But I like it very much. They haven’t done much in the playoffs with Beckham. Now hopefully they can rebuild through the draft with all these picks. And will be contenders in a few years

Browns are winning the off season...and we all know how OBJ made to the Giants an annual super bowl contender.

He's a fantastic talent and they've added plenty to their roster...it remains to be seen whether they put it all together...and I wouldn't mind if they did...they've been a dumpster fire for too damn long

My guess is his contract gets re-done a la Antonio Brown's. Hopefully it doesn't get out of hand.

As long as the guaranteed money can mostly be paid first 3 years shouldn't be too terrible.

If they're not sold on a QB this year, they could use those picks in the first to bolster the defense and add a new WR to replace OBJ. Odds are they'd be sitting in a great spot to grab one of the QBs in 2020, and at that point they'd still have Barkley for at least 3 more years. It wouldn't be the worst position to be in, I guess.

That would make sense for them at #17 if they don't see what they want, for sure.

Does only have a dead cap of $4M in 2021 and $0 in 2022 but can he stay healthy for 2-3 seasons?

I'd say what I always do when it comes to trades....depends what the cost is.

I said when I first joined this forum that by 2020, the Browns would own the AFC North and possibly compete for the conference title. Who knows, I just may have been off by a year.
