Wow...now the HP decides to squeeze the strike zone??
WTF.
WTF.
Agreed.I know Rojas is a dead man walking but at the end of the day he's not responsible for guys hitting. I don't know if these guys will figure it out for next year but this is just silly.
They might as well just shut Jake down for the rest of the year at this point...and get him healthy for 2022.
Bringing him back in mid Sept is all but useless now, and could backfire badly.
But if Thor is finally good to go again, whether out of the pen or a spot start here and there..I want to see it.
DeGrom throws; Syndergaard set for rehab stint
Mets ace Jacob deGrom played catch at Citi Field on Wednesday after an MRI showed improvement with the right forearm tightness that has sidelined him since July 7, while Noah Syndergaard will begin a minor league rehab assignment.www.espn.com
I'm okay with Thor getting a few relief appearances. Besides...he may not even be on the roster next year.Same with Syndergaard, I know he wants to prove himself in a contract year but no reason to risk these guys.
