Do teams usually leave the afternoon before for a cross country flight?
Their flight was 2 hours delayed, and it was snowing.

What if it did not even take off tonight?

I thought teams liked to leave a few days before to get settled in to the other time zone, weather, and conditions?

Could this negatively affect the Giants?

I think they cut it real close.

Could you imagine if the airport shut down, and they had to fly out first thing tomorrow morning? That would almost give us the game.

They knew the snow was coming were dicussing leaving a day early. If the are effected by the delay its their own fault. And to be honest I hope it bites them in the ass. However I would think they made their flight Ponikarovsky got from Carolina to Newark between last night and this afternoon to play his first game in a Devils uniform at 1pm

It's been one of those oddly rough weeks for the Giants and hopefully that will work in our favor :D

Players getting the flu and delayed flights aren't something you want leading up to a big game like this one.

I don't think it will affect them. They probably have the same travel plans that they always use and it seems to have worked for them in the past.
