3. Casper Wells

4. Roger Bernidina

Also, three of the five they ADDED to the roster because Rueben liked their depth...

Susdorf only played like two games for us, so I don't think he should count. And at least Asche has an obvious spot on the roster, unlike these scrubs. For every horrible, career sub-.200 hitter on the Phils, we need to think of a gay nickname so that we can ridicule them whenever we refer to them. So fare we have Johnny Mac, Casper the Friendly Ghost, and of course the timeless classic Mini-Mart. We need to think of something for Laynce Nix (even though he's no longer on the team) and Roger Bernidina. I'm thinking Bernidina's name is somehow going to be a reference to Who Framed Roger Rabbit, but I'm not quite sure what it is as of right now.

It's sad when you trust your pitcher to hit the ball more than you do your seven and eight hole hitters.

It's a little long, but I was thinking that Bernidina's nickname could be: Major League player? Who framed Roger Bernidina

That must have been the weekend Derek Lowe was in town. You didn't miss much. He got his first major league hit and missed a routine fly ball-the end.

It has occurred to me that brain-dead has signed all of these stiffs with the notion that maybe one or two of them will become a significant contributor to the Phils on one or more levels. Although to date it does not appear to be the case, brain-dead is banking on the philosophy that even a blind squirrel finds a nut once and awhile! What a total blind and brain-dead dope of a GM!!!

Rueben Atardo went out of his way to talk about how great Wells is.
