Would the Packers or Seahawks willingly trade said QB's to the Bucs? Kirk Cousins seems more realistic.

It sounds like GB is going to dump salary.

Cutting Rodgers saves $25.5M, trading Rodgers saves $25.5M plus brings in assets. Yes Im sure GB would trade Rodgers to Tampa.

Best QB for any team to go for this offseason is Gardner the Great. Had Philly gone with him they would be playing today.

I cant post anything other than links. Per spotrac they save 25.5M by cut or trade. Click the red X for 2023. Yes I goofed on the year, as I should have clicked on 2022

2022 is

47,136
2022 Cap Savings: $19,817,021
PRE-6/1 TRADE
2022 Dead Cap: $26,847,136
2022 Cap Savings: $19,817,021
POST-6/1 RELEASE
2022 Dead Cap: $19,173,568
2023 Dead Cap: $7,673,568
2022 Cap Savings: $27,490,589
POST-6/1 TRADE
2022 Dead Cap: $19,173,568
2023 Dead Cap: $7,673,568
2022 Cap Savings: $27,490,589

Either way they save a lot of cap space in 22 and a trade saves more than releasing him. If reports are correct about a rebuild it makes sense to trade him to any team interested since GB won't be in contention for the next few years.

Serious question. Is Kyle Trask not considered starter material?
