TD LOCKETT!
We've been saying for weeks, if you aren't going to get Graham the ball ffs get it to Lockett. Either should be able to do more than Baldwin or Kearse.Wow, didn't expect Lockett to fight 3 defenders on his back for 3 extra yards.
The line has been a bigger factor in Lynch's lack of explosion than anything related to his health or age. He's still a very smart runner that has excellent ball control and his experience will be needed if this team has any shot at post season.
Never said anything about next year. That's a whole different conversation. This may well be his last year, or should be. However, this offense this year was still built around him and we know the punishment backs take. You can't go into the stretch with just Rawls and Jackson as your only running options on a run first team.He won't be a big factor though if he doesn't start picking it up ... We haven't seen anything from Lynch at all this year so far... Part of that is little nagging injuries, but part could be because his tires are getting low.. He's closing in on 30 and we know what that does to most physical backs... He's gonna be 30 in April ... This could be Lynch's last year as a Seahawk... I love Lynch and what he's done for this franchise, but so far this year you can't argue that he hasn't been the same...

Whether or not Rawls should get more carries if both are healthy, Lynch will be needed.
I'm just saying there's room for that debate. Who gets how many when is a legit debate. The 'trade him NOW' crap isn't IMO. You are always a lot more rational than some of our more... emotional fans up here. When I said I thought we'd see Rawls more, it was as in more than we saw him not more than Lynch.
