Yeah, with how he ran earlier this season and how inconsistent Lynch has been I thought we would have more Rawls than we have.

Rawls is looking good, but mince no words here, you need Lynch down the stretch as well. How much of each is up for debate. The need for both is not.

I hate to say it, but I think Lynch has been hurting our running game a bit .. I realize the 49rs defense isn't great right now, but still, Rawls is brining way more quickness and explosiveness from the backfield ... Lynch just hasn't been the same this year so far... I don't think Lynch is 100 percent, that's part of it...

I agree, Lynch just hasn't looked the same, even when the line is playing well.

Absolutely. He's chewing up $8.5M and has lost his explosiveness. You can see Lynch on the sideline slowly watching his career go away. Get a 4th rounder for this guy and offload that $11.5M RIDICULOUS salary ASAP this offseason.

The line has been a bigger factor in Lynch's lack of explosion than anything related to his health or age. He's still a very smart runner that has excellent ball control and his experience will be needed if this team has any shot at post season.
