I wasn't happy with nds performance on Saturday. they came out on fire in the first 6 minutes but didn't do much else after that. their defense couldn't get off the field on 3rd down. rees was overthrowing wide open receivers down field, they struggled running the ball and they might have the worst special teams in the country. their punter and fg kickers are TERRIBLE. im hoping for an irish win but I wouldn't bet on them

ESPN never said anything like that. Most people say a good year for the Irish is 8 or 9 wins with their schedule.

Anyway the defense needs to play much better to compete with Michigan. They did not look too good against Temple.

I'm not sure I've seen that anywhere or heard that anywhere. This team is much different than last year.

I think ND struggles a bit to contain Gardner. He broke containment a lot last week and our LBs aren't fast enough to stop him. I hate to say it, but I see scUM winning. I still love my Irish though!

He's making up BS. ND schedule is tough and I'll take a 9 win season with no problem. Only good thing is most of the hard games outside of Michigan and Stanford are at home or at a neutral site

Drake Johnson the backup. Glad we have depth.

We lost Drake Johnson to an ACL injury. Officially, he was on #2 on the depth chart but, in reality, the two freshmen (Green and Smith) are battling for the spot behind Fitz. Sucks for Johnson obviously but it won't impact the game.

ND's line should be able to pressure Gardner into some mistakes. If not, Michigan wins this game. Don't expect a lot of offense out of either team. As a Michigan homer, I am thinking a 16-9 final score but it really could go either way. Michigan has a lot of young talent on the defensive side of the ball and it will be interesting to see how they play.

I can see a higher scoring game if ND's D-line can't put pressure on the QB. I think ND's O-line will give TD Tommy time to spread the ball around and just enough running to keep 'em honest. ND 31 Mich 28
