I cannot believe that two teams that lost to unranked teams are still in the top 4 for the college playoff
1.Bama- They look unstoppable, but they do not have an many quality wins as Ohio State, they have no top 10 wins. How can they put them up so high.
2.Ohio State- Did themselves a favor by losing to Penn State. Now they can get to the playoff without having to play in the B10 championship game. Just goes to show that conference championships are not important.
3. Michigan- Lose to unranked Iowa and still in the playoff. I thought you were supposed to drop after an embarrassing loss. also lost starting QB for the year. Other than the Iowa game, they have dominated everyone on thier schedule. Still in contention to win the B10.
4. Clemson- Inconsistent and overrated. Should have lost to Louisville, should have lost to NC State, lost unranked Pitt. I think that this is one team in the top 5 that WVU would dominate if we played them.
5. Louisville- This is a really good team with only 1 loss to Clemson in which they played like the better team. Likely to get a pass at the conf championship game but still make the playoff.
6 Washington- You just got dominated and only dropped 1 spot in the rankings.
7. Wisconsin- Overrated along with your entire conference.
8. Penn State- Also Lost to sPitt, Dominated by Michigan, but put themselves in a position to win the B10 (Best conference in CFB according to the committee) and not make the playoff.
9. Oklahoma- Lost to unranked Houston. Would be favored over half of the teams ranked above them if they played.
10. Colorado- 2 losses to ranked teams
11 OK State- Blew a playoff chance against FCS team. Returned the favor by taking out WVUs unefeated seson chance.
12. Utah Beat BYU by less than WVU. Lost to unranked Cal
13 USC 3 losses including blowout by Alabama (which is BTW Bamas best win) loss to unranked Stanford. You have gotta to be kidding me.
14 WVU Only loss to #11 ranked team. Take out the conference bias and we should be about 6 or 7.
My top 5 best teams regardless of record.
Bama
Michigan
Ohio State
Louisville
Oklahoma
Teams deserving to be in playoff: My feeling is that if you can't win your conference, you do not deserve to be in. We have 4 conferences and very few inter conference games to get a picture of which conference is better
Bama
Michigan
Washington
Clemson
WVU
