Sorry blackshirts but luck has Barry little to do with it
I'm not going to be a debbie downer tonight. we saw a lot of the future Huskers team tonight and we blew somebody out.
But you do realize tonight was 14 losses in a row for S. Miss right?
What I saw was improvement. Better tackling (not perfect), playing faster on defense, nobody looked confused.
Offensively I thought they still looked a little off.
HOWEVER, there was no (or at least very little) motion on behalf of the So Miss offense. These young kids struggled with that last week, and historically the defense has had problems when there are guys moving all over before the play starts.
Again, saw some improvements, but will withhold judgement until next week.
We saw what we needed to see, nothing more nothing less, gives me a little hope for next week
Okay you did it. I have to reply. Did we see improvements or was it the competition?
Like I said in a post somewhere earlier.
Tonight is going to be fun to watch (It was) but it won't tell us anything.
I will change that though. It did tell me something. Seeing Kellogg and Armstrong out there told me Kellogg can not lead this team and Armstrong is going to be the best thing that has happened to this team in a long time.
Oh, one other thing I learned. Ameer, Newby and Cross. two men and a truck.
Problem is they will now think they are good team and think they can just show up next week and win cause they are at home, be flat and get in tough one again next week vs very good team
