Guess we have NFL Free agency and the draft? Not a lot of big names in the draft this year.

I'm very curious to see the following though:

1) Where will Davante Adams (UFA) and Aaron Rodgers end up?
2) The Saints are about to implode and have to cut a HUGE amount of their roster, where will that talent land?
3) Cowboys aren't as bad as the Saints, but have to make cuts.
4) Will Russell Wilson be traded?
5) Kyler Murray and his NFL future? I don't think there's much of a story there, but who knows.
6) Will Deshaun Watson get reinstated?
7) Will Tomb Brady unretire and sign with the Dolphins just to troll the fuck out of everyone?

Should be a decent offseason. Lots of open questions. I think the draft will be kind of 'meh' though. I'm sure we'll be hearing non-stop during the draft on the diversity hire picks... lol. I wonder if they'll march out a black person who says, "And with the extra 3rd round pick, because San Fran sold a black person, the 49ers select <insert person>." LOL, could be fuckin' hilarious.

Rob Gronk wants to play with the Bengals. So that’s a thing.

Got to watch Stafford in the Superbowl, and now we are only 10 weeks away from the Lions SuperBowl!

1) Back in Green Bay for both but the defense will take a huge hit to fix the cap situation.
2) Saints are fucked. I hope the Seahawks can snag a couple of their guys from the defense or maybe an Olineman. Total rebuild in Nola. That's why Payton left.
3) Cowboys in a pickle capwise but have some options like possibly trading Zeke.
4) Russ is going nowhere, Very few teams built and ready to sell out like the Rams did. And those that are have QBs on the roster they have to pay or try to trade first.
5) Kyler Murray just needs to grow up and deal with shit. Zona has him for another year before they have to make a decision. A healthy Dhop helps but the Cards and Kingsbury need to calm the waters and move ahead with Kyler.
6) Who the hell knows with Watson. A lot of teams covet him but the cost will be high. He needs to settle his shit sooner rather than later though. 2 years off the field will hurt.
7) Again, who knows. But I think Brady is done and he wouldn't play for Miami with that Oline, imo.

Just my 2 cents though, I could be totally wrong.

lol, I love that you responded to my last point with total sincerity, even though I was making it a joke.

Bless you, Strangelove.

On point #1, I don't see any way the Packers can keep Rodgers and Adams without cutting the entire roster... and I think Adams already said he's leaving if Rodgers is not there (or at least hinted to that).

Just no way.

I will say I think you are going to see trench players raise in importance. We have had 2 consecutive SuperBowls decided by an elite Dline dominating a weak Oline.

I figured the Brady thing was sarcasm but I decided fuck it. As for Green Bay, that's why I said the defense would take a hit. I think they lose both Smiths and quite a few other pieces anyway. But it all hinges on Rodgers willingness to stay and them kicking the can down the road in a restrusture. Either way, the Packers won't have as good of a team, imo unless they hit home runs in the draft.

Since I highly doubt it’ll be a generational skill player at the end of the 1st, our first two selections should and will be on the O-Line. Then spend CAP on a couple more.

The rest invest in CB depth, D-Line depth, then luxury skill positions.

I'm actually really curious to see how the Bengals will draft. The OLINE for the Bengals is not great, but Burrow is actually a really good QB under pressure. Yes they lost the SBOWL and Aaron Donald was a force (he is against basically every team though) but given this draft is a bit underwhelming for offensive talent, I wonder if Cincy will go defense.

You're 100% right to think the first couple selections should be OL though, Cincy has to improve that despite Burrow's ability to deal with a crap one lol.

OL, OL, CB, DL, TE, ST specialist. In that order.

I prefer the O-Linemen are from Bama, Georgia, or Wisconsin. I don’t give a shit about PFF grades. But we’ll see how it shapes out.

Hopefully they are smart that way. They need good players and depth on the Oline and then a good Oline coach. Don't do like Pete and Seattle have done for too many years now.

1.) I'm sure they will figure it out and both will come back, I don't see a place where Rodgers will go. The issue is if Rodgers is gone, I don't see Adams coming back in GB either.
2.) They did it last year too and still had a great roster but hard to keep doing this year after year.
4.) I still think he stays
5.) Kyler and Cards will work it out. Problem for Zona is committing long-term to a midget
6.) Only time will tell, haven't sorted anything out thus far. Miami would have him right now if all of that was sorted out. If he is reinstated I think the Bucs and Dolphins are in the mix and I also think the Browns too.
7.) Absolutely could see him unretiring, he has a lot left in the tank but I don't see him going to Miami.

This. And we've seen WRs become more important every year.

That said, its really difficult to build the type of dline the Bucs and Rams had. Bucs had Suh and Vita Vea who are 'only in the first round' type of prospects. PFF thinks DT is the weakest positional group in the draft. Nobody sees the next Aaron Donald in there.

Lots of edge rushers, though

Depth is weak, but Davis is going to be a beast as a nose, and Leal could be an absolute monster.

Another possible landing spot for Watson if he gets his issue sorted out is Washington. I am leaning more toward him going to an NFC team. I'm thinking now that Flores and the Dolphins had their falling out, they will stick with Tua until the dust settles. It was Flores pushing for Watson, not the FO.

I'm not fully convinced. Cards were built to win this year. That whole team is a hot seat.

This offseason is hard to look forward to.

Worst draft in years. There are guys that are being "mocked" in the top 10 right now that wouldnt have sniffed the top 45 picks in last years draft.

And my team cant afford free agents.

Least you're not as bad as New Orleans and Green Bay, lol. I would have to imagine Barr is gone, Maybe Thielen goes? I mean you've got enough ammo with Jefferson, Conklin, and Osborn who had a good showing last season. Or maybe get rid of one of the DTs.... it's a majorly defensive draft so you can restock some stuff there. Also maybe you can restructure Hunter. He's a good player but not sure what jackass thought a $26M cap hit was a good idea lol.

And I think Rodgers is gone and I don't think there's anyway they can afford him AND Adams.... Rodgers is not going to stay without Adams and Adams is not going to play without Rodgers lol.

I guess they could do it if they got rid of both the Smiths and Clark and restructured Rodgers. Cobb would save em' another $7M and then maybe Green Bay FO will pull their head out of their ass and draft a WR early.
