Ok, well in comparison to Geno, he's good. But in the big picture, its like saying Moe is a good decision maker, while Larry and Curly are bad decision makers
Now Treff you know I love your great insight and as awesome and detailed that they surely can and usually are

This beauty is possibly my fave
Who needs detail when you can just tell like it is :suds::suds:

I'm dying here. That is one major classic.

Well, we're roughly at the halfway point of the fantasy season. (At least as far as fantasy playoffs are concerned.)
I have everyone's updates (if you decided to update way back in Sept).

Just to recap, as hard as it is to believe in preseason, about half of the top 12 don't finish in the top 12.

Here are the current top 12 at the midway point. Bold players were the original top 12 picks.
Only 4 RB remain (33%). And only 5 WR remain (41%).

RB
1) David Johnson
2) DeMarco
3) Gordon
4) McCoy
5) EE
6) Blount
7) Coleman
8) Ware
9) Forte
10) Anderson
11) Ajayi
12) Freeman
-----------
16) L. Miller
19) Gurley
21) Ingram
24) Bell
34) Lacy
82) Martin
84) Charles
IR) AP

WR
1) Julio
2) Green
3) Hilton
4) AB
5) Evans
6) Marvin Jones
7) Crabtree
8) ODB
9) Fitz
8) Pryor
10) Cooks
11) Cooper
12) Wallace
--------
23) Nelson
24) Marshall
26) Hopkins
34) Jeffery
39) ARob
87) Dez
IR) Keenan Allen

Like booker, quizz, ty mont.

I know shady had a couple bad games, but surprised to not see him in top 12 right now, but prob got passed by ajayi last week

FINAL STATS

Recap
The list was the top 12 consensus rankings of RB and WR before the 2016 season started. Historically, only 50% (which is a generous percentage) actually finish in the top 12.

13600094_1171843122880299_7152814093070484405_n-jpg.135122

How They Finished

RB - Half (50%) finished in the top 12.
WR - 42% (5 of 12) finished in the top 12.
Since we were told to pick 6, the next best WR to fall out of the top 12 was Dez Bryant (finished 15th).

BTW, you may want to make sure I got your guesses correctly color-coded.
Just noticed I messed up my own correct picks (which still doesn't help me).

Guess its one of the dangers of watching the Winter Classic and making a post.

Weird. Tried doing a chronological search for the previous games and for some reason, SportsHoopla skips all posts in the search from Jan 25, 2017 through Mar 27, 2020?

upload_2020-8-20_21-43-31.png

Anyway, I manually paged through all of the pages and found them.

So here is the historical recap on this game:

Started with a post in April 2016 called Math is a Wonderful Thing which featured a School of Rock clip with Jack Black.
The post reviewed the likelihood of top draft picks actually finishing that way by looking at all positions from 2015. Incidentally RB did absolutely atrocious at 25% (3 of 12).

We must have been recapping or reminiscing about the epic Golden Mountain Saga that spring (which was artfully written in "Monty Python"-ese) because by July 2016, I must have forgotten about the original Math post and decided to call the "game" None Shall Pass... after a Monty Python bit in the Holy Grail movie for the 2016 season. (this thread)

Since I'm old, apparently this too was forgotten as I missed the 2017 season completely.

When the 2018 season rolled around. In an attempt to title it something more memorable, it was randomly named The 50/50 Game. And then randomly forgotten by the end of the season.

History repeated as my memory failed me again for the 2019 season. The result was the aptly named post The 2019 HALF Game.

Here's the skinny of finishes:
2015 - RB 25% (3 of 12); WR 50% (6 of 12)
2016 - RB 50% (6 of 12); WR 42% (5 of 12) SteelersPride & TKOSpikes tied with 8 correct.
2017 - skipped
2018 - incomplete, never tallied the end-of-season
2019 - RB 50% (6 of 12); WR 33% (4 of 12) Barilko won with only 1 wrong player.

And for the record, we use the Fantasy Pros ADP as the basis for the START of the season rankings.

Let's make this official. Here are the current top 12 RB and WR being drafted per Fantasy Pros' ADP for standard scoring.

Pick 6 players from each group that will not finish in the top 12 at the end of the 2020 season.

Wrinkle added: In case of ties, please rank your players who miss the cut. Most likely to miss would be 1. Least likely to miss would be 6.

You can make as many adjustments as you want until kickoff on September 10th.
