Seems every year, I call this something different? Last year was this:

Each season, about HALF of the first 12 drafted players at RB and WR do not finish in the top 12.
Granted, some may come close, finishing 13th or 15th. Technically, they still did not finish in the top 12. Why 12? Well, most fantasy leagues have 12 owners.

As of today, August 20, these are the top 12 RB and top 12 WR being drafted off the board first based on FantasyPros' ADP rankings.

This is easy: pick the 6 players from each list who will not be in the top 12 at the end of the fantasy season.

mixon, cook, zeke, saquon, chubb, fournette
tyreek, AB, THielen, Keenan Allen, Hilton, adams

out of curiosity...why the hate on Adams? or is it part of your campaign against Rodgers?

SO here was my deranged thought process.
-Julio is not Human, if he gets a few TD's even with regression hes in

-Hopkins is Insane and hes gonna get the targets, plus his other two WR's are shoe ins for injuries, a horrid O line, and poor rb's and they are passing alot

-Michael Thomas is the only saints WR, and he got paid, hes gonna get his

-ODB is gonna be motivated, and baker loves to push the ball, if he was great with eli, the skys the limit

-JuJu has been the consensus best player in steelers camp, has supposedly "gone to the next level"......i hear the chirps, lets see it, but im faithful

-Mike evans, everyone is hyping godwin, Arians #1 wr produce. Evans always has produced, hes a lock for 150 targets, and high flying offense

SO that left me with
Hill-Gotta be some regression, and possiblity he screws up again

AB-Walking disaster

Keenan Allen-Injury risk, People are hyping mike williams, emergence of hunter henry? i dunno that im buying williams or henry, but theres the case to be made

Hilton-The obvious, andrew luck situation

THielen-Started hot, was pretty awful the second half of the season, and diggs is gonna keep commanding the ball

that left ADams, i love him, i think hes gonna be there, but i had to pick someone, went with him on that basis lafleur goes more conservative and runs more.........

Oh, how I hate to agree with this. However, you did leave out his TD totals for the first 8.

Or did you??? :pound::pound::pound:

With the 2019 Fantasy season over, here is the way the top 12 fantasy players finished for the RB and WR.

2019 RB and WR top 12 finishers.png

For the record, the ones that did NOT make the finish per their ADP:
RB > Kamara, David Johnson, Bell, Conner, Gurley, Mixon (6, count them, 6, HALF, for all you doubters that "half" wouldn't happen)
WR > Adams, Beckham, Hill, Ju-Ju, Antonio Brown, Keenan Allen, Thielen, Hilton (8, count 'em... more than half, baby)

So how did you do? With 8 of the 12 WR not making the final top 12, everyone probably did well with the WR.
Let's see.

RB
McCaffery
Johnson
Bell
Mixon

Fournette
Cook

WR
Thomas
Beckham
Hilton
Brown
Allen
Thielen

Kamara
Elliott
Conner

I refuse to pick a sixth..they'll all be there

Beckham
Hill
Brown
Evans
Thielen
Hilton

mixon, cook, zeke, saquon, chubb, fournette
tyreek, AB, THielen, Keenan Allen, Hilton, adams

Ouch really i think it will be less than 6 Rb outside the 12 however

Bell Hilton
Conner Brown
Gurley Allen
Fournette OBJ

Mixon Thielen

Bell

Fournette
D Cook

D Johnson
Mixon

Brown

Zeke
DJ
Bell
Gurley
Connor
Fournette

Julio
Beckham
Hill
Brown
Allen
Hilton

in order of probability

1. Mixon
2. Conner
3. Gurley
4. Cook
5. Kamara
6. McCaffrey

Both McCaffrey and Kamara make my list in standard, but not in PPR... if PPR fournette and Chubb go on my list

WR

1. Hilton
2. thielen
3. Keenan Allen
4. Antonio Brown
5. Odell Beckham
6. Tyreek hill

Tyreek hill is the surprise one for me, he is either going to be a top 5 WR or not a top 20.... don't see the middle ground for him...

RB:
1. Chubb
2. Cook
3. Fournette
4. Conner
5. Gurley
6. Mixon

WR:
1. Hilton
2. Thielen
3. Brown
4. Allen
5. Hill
6. Evans

I found doing the RBs easier than the WRs

RB

McCaffrey
Zeke
Chubb

Conner
Cook
Gurley

WR

Adams
Hill
Allen
Brown
Juju
Hilton

Recap:
1 wrong: Barilko, OBX :clap::clap::clap:
