You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.
Seems every year, I call this something different? Last year was this:
Each season, about HALF of the first 12 drafted players at RB and WR do not finish in the top 12.
Granted, some may come close, finishing 13th or 15th. Technically, they still did not finish in the top 12. Why 12? Well, most fantasy leagues have 12 owners.
As of today, August 20, these are the top 12 RB and top 12 WR being drafted off the board first based on FantasyPros' ADP rankings.
This is easy: pick the 6 players from each list who will not be in the top 12 at the end of the fantasy season.
