In 1969 the Oakland A's introduced ball girls to sit along the foul lines and shag baseballs in foul territory. One of the first ball girls they hired was Debbi Fields, future founder of Mrs. Fields Bakeries.

Pirates continue to piss of their fans.

Well maybe I was totally wrong on the Pirates. It’s like these cheap owners are all tone deaf.

Angels starting pitcher Tyler Anderson had a no hitter through 5.2 against the Astros. Just broken up by Alvarez with a double.

But Anderson was at 88 pitches so I doubt they would've left him out for a complete game anyway.

guardians won their 5th in a row today to get to 2 over .500 after a rough start. i'm pleased.

o's are getting there with a good win today over the blue jays.

o's, guardians, and m's all have monday off. what will i do with myself?
