No team has ever won 3 Super Bowls in a row. What if the Chiefs do it?

10 appearances in the Super Bowl? He is good but we will have to see. That’s almost impossible.

“Appearances”? No
Wins, I think so

Unless a division pops up as bad as the AFC East was for a 20 year stretch, no QB will get to 10

that division was this years NFC East, but for 2 decades

On Paper it looks good moving forward but they are currently in an almost identical position the Seahawks/Wilson were 6 years ago. Just a reminder of how even if they outlook is good nothing is guaranteed. Getting this far is hard and the Chiefs can't close the deal this year, they very could be the next Seahawks. Hopefully not tho

Exactly, nobody will do what he has done, especially over that period of time. He made a Super Bowl in 3 different decades.

Good point, only difference being Mahomes has been paid. The Seattle ship starting sinking once Russ got paid

Andy supports Mahomes a lot better than Pete did Wilson to this point in actual games, imo.

The Chiefs core is pretty young, cheap and good right now still.

Also true. Before DK, seems Russ was throwing to really nice #2 and 3 WRs in his career. And feels like the Oline has been a continual issue. And Mahomes is just a lot better at playing QB

I am glad you mentioned this about the CHIEFS. If you remember the putrid game that the RAMS put up against the PATS....then if not for DEE FORD lining up off-sides....the CHIEFS would now already have two(2) in a row and would be going for the three-peat this year......when they repeat.
IF, IF , If, if..................................

If Harrison could have knocked the ball away from his helmet, If there was today's replay it would have shown the receiver's foot on the sideline and if Algohlor was called out of bounds.....................................Brady and Belichick would have 9 Super Bowl rings. If I hadn't married my wife, she wouldn't be making me lunch right now.

Fast forward to next Sunday, IF Brady hadn't left the Patriots, the Buccaneers wouldn't be in the Super Bowl and the Chiefs MIGHT have won two in a row against someone else. Next Sunday, this thread will be extint.

His cap hit is nothing this year and still pretty manageable next year. Then it jumps to over $30 mil in 2022 and over $40 mil in 2023.
But yes it gets infinitly tougher once you pay the QB. So if the Chiefs dont take advantage in two weeks, there is no guarantee they get another shot.

Right, wasn't trying to say they are the exact same but the best comparison I could think of in terms of something with a positive outlook going wrong.
I'd personally love to see them keep a good thing going for awhile. Always liked the Chiefs too.

perhaps OP should pump his brake a bit. The Chiefs & Mahomes need to get 2 first before 3. The GOAT Brady and the Bucs are tall orders for winning SB.

I'm optimistic. I'd be happier if both their safeties were healthy though.

I think TB/TB can score with KC though.

Would be nice if JPP rattled Kermit a wee bit.

You're always optimistic the chiefs will lose yet mahomes is 25-1 in his last 26 starts, including the playoffs. I really hope you don't gamble on football or you're probably homeless by now.

I do expect the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl this year. They probably will do what they always do and allow the Buccs to go up 10-24 points and then come storming back and win

Now doubt . They showed the stats where Brady and Mahomes are 2-2 heads up with Brady's O scoring 120 points to 121, and 3 of those game as we know with NE w/o the weapons he has in TB. Should be a shootout imo

The key to the game will be if the chiefs back up O linemen can play decently. They are missing both starting tackles and jpp and barrett could run wild

Too me it's what Hank pointed out with TB's 2 starting safeties out. When they played earlier this season, Tyreek Hill had scorched the healthy secondary for over 200 yards in the first Q alone. Second half Bolles aborted the man to man D and it became a game. TB's rushing D and linebackers are outstanding, secondary not so much. Throw in Mahomes with his arm and Flash Hill, that's a tall task. If Shaq, JJP and Suh can put some heat on Pat like they did vs Rodgers, they have a shot
