I feel bad for all the hockey fans still in the seats... they probably don't want to get up and leave, even though they basically should. Since the council is just arguing what they voted on and if abstain means yes, etc...

That or they probably have no idea if the Coyotes are staying (can't blame them... if it weren't for twitter, I'd have no idea how they voted even though I've been watching)!

Again, the deal has been approved with the amendment to remove the city's 5-year out clause. The #Coyotes are staying in AZ.

So in summation: if the team goes down the pipes and the ownership group is taking losses from the arena, they can get out of the deal after five years. However, if the city wants out for any reason, they can't? Something like that.

He really didn't do much when the Pens threatened either. Mario and Pittsburgh politicians saved that one.

He has to own land in AZ. It's the only explanation.
