Don't get me started.
Hey now, choose those words carefully... you are talking about the greatest state in all 50 states.

The dude in the background seems pretty interested in the whole thing... interested in his blackberry and nothing else, I mean.

In case anybody's wondering, Global Spectrum falls under the Comcast umbrella and I think we all know who owns Comcast...

So the NHL allows owners having a hand in multiple teams then?
As a Canadian who has been monitoring this story from the VERY beginning (as I need to know if I'll be getting a Coyotes, or some other jersey, as I have the whole League,) to me the telling point of this is that there's on on-line poll ON THIS SITE (azcentral.com) that has less than 1000 respondents on this topic, and nearly three quarters of them say this team will be moved. End this already, the ambivalence from the locals is palpable.
With this math they're assuming that they'll get 12-14k fans per game. That will be tough on weekdays and during the #NFL season. #Coyotes
This turned sour pretty quick. Fairly clear the people on this council could care less about the team. One guy spoke to the value of having the team around...then the next woman talks about furloughs/layoffs and where they'd get money for the hockeys. I don't know ANY of these council people have been involved in this decision until this very moment. That's sort of despicable.
