Maybe she will want to try her case separately from all these other women, and if she settles she can't do that.
OK, but the person to whom I replied said "maybe she doesn't think money is enough". My question is still what does she think she can get in a civil case other than money?

I would think they care more about what his actual indiscretions are never mind all you are doing is guessing he lied.
Geez man. How much is Deshaun paying you to be his PR director? Whatever it is, it is not enough based on the effort you are going through. I would ask for a "raise" kinda like he did with all his massage therapists.

Nothing. However, maybe she doesn't want to be part of the civil suit anymore, maybe she wants to try things in a court of law again, and her and the attorney are trying to figure out how to isolate her case from the others to have the appeal over turned to send her case to court.

I'm willing to look at both sides of the issue. what's funny is you can only see one side and believe anything that supports that side.
Sure Dude, you've proven to be nothing but unbiased throughout these threads. A true voice of reason

Based on this legalese....There is grounds to actually ban him from the league. I am assuming these are separate times that charges be brought against, probably criminal charges too. However, a second instance can get you banned. But 24 to 26 instances? I know there are things that keep this from falling into that category. But 24 to 26 can also make it fall back into this category of punishment.
These would all be included in the "first offense" I assume. But certainly would be accounted in the "aggravating factors" clause

She can make her story public in an open forum, get a victoru and not be bound by a confidentiality agreement that lets Watson claim he didnt do anything

I assume his attorney would look at that and say the same thing and fight tooth in nail for that to be the case.

However, pretty sure that that statement wasn't written anticipating a serial offender who took a while to get caught or called out on his offenses.

The question is, are any of these women falling outside the initial period in which this case has been set to? None of the women coming into the picture lately, last two with two more potential aren't outside that window, making this another instance of Deshaun committing these acts after the league and world became aware of his indiscretions are they? I mean I don't know the dates on these women being abused/influenced. However, if new ones are coming in after all these has been started, then these new women could fall in that second offense category.

I'd say that about sums it up. When agenda is all you care about, you'll pretend the "facts" back your case I guess. Even Watson doesn't believe the crap he is spewing or he wouldn't have settled. I know, I know, there's a spin for that too...

It's already been said/shown that some of these cases happened after march 17 2021 when the first few cases were filed.

show me the money:suds:

Attorney Tony Buzbee said all but four lawsuits against Deshaun Watson have been settled.

Buzbee has represented dozens of women bringing sexual assault charges against Watson for more than a year. Buzbee said attorneys are "working through paperwork" related to the four outstanding suits against Watson, who did not play in 2021 and could face a lengthy suspension in 2022. Buzbee indicated the other four lawsuits would eventually be settled, adding that the terms of the settlements with Watson would remain confidential. This marks a major turning point in the Watson saga, as there was some question as to whether he could suit up for the Browns with lawsuits pending. We could see Watson, the league's highest paid player, on the field this fall or winter.

His PR director? I mean, I have said anything from no suspension to a year+ could be justified to me. I could see why you wouldn't want to reply based on what I said (and what you said) as clearly you did no more than guess.....based on your own agenda.

Oh, the irony.

Because I don't believe every opinion that goes against him means I'm biased? I mean, I've said watson has issues, needs help, a suspension from anywhere between no games to a year+ can be justified. Do you just get confused by someone not being 100% on one side or another (don't be afraid to admit it if you are as many can be thrown off by that).

Doesn't have to sign a confidentially clause. She's been clear that she wants the world to know what Watson has done.
Yeah...she couldn't do that on HBO or the many other times she or her attorney have spoken about it?
