That's what I remember. Or was it actually just game 6 of the ECF? I know the guarantee came before game 6 after they lost game 5, but did it apply to the whole series or did he specifically guarantee victory in game 6? In which case I would say that a game 7 victory may not have been stated but was strongly implied.
