Individual honors and Defensive teams came out yesterday. No surprise not a lot of Huskers.
2018 Big Ten Football Individual Honors
Lazy, so just going to copy and paste, don't feel like trying to make it nice:
Long story short:
3rd Team for Bootle and Barry (Media)
HM: Carlos Davis (coaches), Gifford, Barry (coaches), Khalil Davis (Media), Isaac Armstrong
Obviously better than no one in 2017, but still a long ways to go. I was a little disappointed Bootle wasn't higher, he had the 2nd most passes defended in Big Ten play, but i guess the sexy stat is INTs and he didn't get any. Always weird when a guy like Jordan Fuller OSU makes 2nd team Media, but only HM in Coaches, similar with Brooks from MD only 2nd team Coaches and HM Media. How MD can have 3 2nd team guys per the coaches while giving up basically the same points per game as NU is kinda crazy.
will be interesting to see what happens on the offensive side.
