I've heard this mentioned on tv. I think it was Faldo.

Why don't they pair Emiliano Grillo, Andrew Johnson, and Daniel Berger together.
This way it would be Beef Grillo Berger.

With the way the majors are going this year...I have almost no feel for this one.

Do we get a top rated winner this week or another 1st time major...I guess Matsuyama qualifies as both so maybe he's our guy.

Fowler, Garcia have to be considered.
Matsuyama is due.
Rahm blitzed the field at the Irish Open.
Some shorter, straight hitters that might get a shot here(so they say, but I will believe it when I see it).

Now that Koreans have taken over the LPGA this is probably a good thing

The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) has released a new dress code for women and professional golfer Paige Spiranac is one of a few female golfers who are not happy about it.

The new dress code prohibits ladies from wearing tops with plunging necklines, short skirts, workout gear or racerback tops without a collar, which came as a surprise to Spiranac, who has often been seen in short skirts and skin tight tops while playing.

Spiranac made her feelings known about the new rules, tweeting earlier this week: "Untucked shirts, and clothes that don't fit (too tight or loose) should be added. Because I think that looks unprofessional as well too."

Spieth in the early lead with a 65.

Kuchar with a very strong start. 5 under par after 9 holes. I would love to see this guy win a major one of these days.

I don't believe we will ever again see anything in golf like we saw with Mickleson/Stenson on Sunday last year.

I remember the rounds...thrilling...Stenson made several bombs to keep Phil at bay. I don't remember what they shot on Sunday.

Had not heard this, but 18 of the top 20 last year were in the same draw as Michelson and Stenson.

They gotta find a way to do split tees for the open.
It is just not fair if you get the bad end of the draw.

Doesn't appear to be the case this year - at least not for today. The leaders appear to be a pretty even mix of guys who played early (Spieth, Koepka, Poulter) & those who played late (Kuchar, Casey, Thomas). We will see what happens tomm.

Stenson shot a bogey free 63 and hit one bunker all day. Phil shot 65 and without looking anything up I think he was also without a bogey.

Those things typically even out, but when you're dealing with weather...sometimes not.

In this one. Afternoon weather doesn't look bad...morning may have been worse.

Koepka...no USO hangover so far. The greens look flawless and not brutally fast, we could see a lot of putts made.

Epic...scores were not as low, but '00 PGA...Woods vs May was a shootout. May just ran of ut gas in the playoff.

He was probably inspired by hearing that OJ was going to become a free man.

LOL...with the weather looking to turn nasty, maybe for the duration, the plodders like Kuch may do well...Rory is more of a Ferrari.

We shall see.
