You needed to bring in the high strikeout/walk guy from the right side in that spot which Mattingly did.

The mistake was sitting there while Kershaw walked the bases loaded.
You make a move after walk #2 instead of walk #3

I agree, but in that high risk sitiation, the closer made sense. Of course, if it had blown up in Matt's face, everyone would have said, "what the fuck, Matt?"
