Snit wanted to bring in a righty to face Puig even though Puig has far better numbers against righties this season. It's like early in the season when Biddle had crazy reverse splits that Snit completely ignored.

Guess it's a good thing I'm working out of town and staying in a hotel so I can sleep a little later. I'd hate to know I had to get up at 4 AM tomorrow after staying up for this like I would have to do if I were at home. The day after the NCG was the longest day at work ever.

Unfortunately we are stuck with him because we made the playoffs unexpectedly...but truth is he cost us about 10 games this year with his decisions. This team could have won 100 games with Ron Washington.

I'd even be willing to roll with Walt Weiss. Snit was the right man for the job in 2016 in the heat of the rebuild, and this year wasn't expected, so I get him still being here this year, but when we're expected to contend, we need to get a real manager.
