Dodgers (92-70) vs Mets (90-72) Mets lead 1-0
Cubs (97-65) vs Cards(100-62) Cards lead 1-0
These four teams on balance have similar stats (NL stats), except for St Louis which lacks somewhat in power but makes up for it with pitching. Who do you think will win each of these series? I think the Cards and Dodgers will be in the final.
Dodgers ERA .346 5th, BA .250 10th, OBP .326 1st, SLG .413 3rd, HR 187 1st, WAR 26.6 2nd
Mets ERA .345 4th, BA .244 13th, OBP .312 11th, SLG .400 6TH, HR 177 3rd, WAR 24.4 5th
Cubs ERA .336 3rd, BA .244 13th, OBP .321 5th, SLG .398 7th HR 171 5th, WAR 25.9 3rd
Cards ERA .294 1st, BA .253 6th, OBP .321 5th, SLG .394 9th, HR 137 11th, WAR 22.4 6th
For reference, the Phillies stats clearly indicate how far away they are from contending.
Phildos ERA .469 14th, BA .249 11th, OBP .312 11th, SLG .382 14TH, HR 130 13th, WAR 8.8 15th
