Cardinals can finish off the Dodgers tonight, and I hope they do.
I grew up in Cardinal country even though I have lived in Boston for 40 years now.
It will be Clayton Kershaw making his 6th career posts-season start for the Dodgers,
while Michael Wacha makes his 3d career post-season start for the Redbirds.
Wacha has a very impressive 0.643 WHIP in his 14 post-season innings to date.
Kershaw's 1.078 in 13 innings is impressive too, at least by regular season standards.
A bit short of Wacha's, however. And this is not the regular season.
That doesn't guarantee a St Louis win, of course, but it should make them the betting favorites, shouldn't it?
