The Cards treat the Dodgers like the Giants treat the Cards in the playoffs.

If Ryu comes back healthy and the Dodgers get another starting pitcher, they would be set with 4/5 starting pitchers. Now their bullpen is another story.

The bullpen has been way better than it's gotten credit for.

Good for him. He's had a nice long career. He did help the Giants in the first half of the season last year so I'm thankful for that. He's been pretty much worthless since the AS break last year though. Good that he realizes its time to hang them up.

Ah, that's right, they won in 2011 but lost in 2013. Still, if they get in this year that's 3 WS appaearances in 5 years. Not as good as the Giants but pretty damn good. And at least they don't go into the tank in between like the Giants do. The Cards perform every year.
