Three-way tie atop the division with the Padres 3-1/2 out before they play tonight. Where does it go from here?

I love the two weekend series of Colorado @ San Fran (great because one team has to lose each game) and St. Louis @ Chavez. I am expecting the Dodgers to get swept.

    Ug

Probably. They might get a W Saturday, as the Cards are throwing young kid Gast out there. And shame on the folks at ESPN for not making the Sunday game the nightly feature game, with Kershaw going against Shelby Miller.

:agree: If that's isn't a perfect game for Sunday Night Baseball, I don't know what it is. There will be plenty of beer consumed in the ravine this weekend.

By my read, there are, besides the Dodgers/Cards, 4 or 5 better matchups that the slated one of Braves vs. Mets, Teheran vs. 0-5, 6.59 e.r.a Shawn Marcum.

Nah, I'm expecting the Dodgers to take 2 of 3, and one of those will be a walk off by Ethier.

He's been on quite a tear in the last 20 games, rasing his avg. about 90 points. All with me watching a lot of their games, and not noticing.

    DOH!

After the weekend, it's a two-way tie between the Giants and Diamondbacks with the Rockies one game back.

Giants, Dodgers and Padres are all 4-6 in their last 10.

I guess we're going to start seeing allot of pre-June 1 callups.

While I will choose to feel that the original writer here was trying to sell this as a negitive, that this is a bad division, I think this just shows a division where every team still has a chance to win as we close in on the halfway point of the season.

He's just a Padres fan enamored with us being ahead of the Giants and a game out of the division. The only team I won't put a cent on right now are the D'backs. Anyone else could take it with an obvious advantage to San Fran and Arizona. :2cents:
