Yeah what the hell was Peavy doing? I think he was complaining about strikes and balls. If anyone watched the game Monday night, when Peavy was pitching, he got a few pitches called in his favor.
Peavy was being Peavy.

If it were Puig that had hit a home run off of Bumgarner, you would have seen a tantrum from Bumgarner!!!

Bumgarner's discrimination against Cubans: CONFIRMED.

Don't forget about the Dominicans, too. Madison is the Unwritten Rules of Baseball Sheriff!

Bumgarner is one of the only players on the Giants who I can't stand for a other reason than his uniform. The rest of the players are just rivals.

Bumgarner is pretty much Jeff Kent with a bigger stick up his ass. It'll probably only get worse from here because at least Kent had Barry Bonds to check him (physically, if needed). Instead, Bumgarner's veteran role model is Tim Hudson, a fellow idiot who actually encourages him to act like a dick-passing-a-kidney-stone all the time.

The Giants suck.

"But, but, but THE PADRES!!!"

What's going to happen when the brooms come out tonight at Dodger? Cause they're gonna be all over the place. I'd love to have a broom truck in the Dodger parking lot tonight.

I detest him too, but not as much as Peavy. Both are gloryhound actors.

Peavy was being Peavy.

Peavey's temper on the mound is second only to his lack of talent as the reason he struggles so mightily these days.

Bumgarner is a bad ass. He carried the Giants on his back throughout the post season last year. I get a little tired of his act on the mound sometimes but have no complaint with the results he gets. I'll take 5 of him in my rotation.

I'm not denying he's a good pitcher. I'm not denying that his playoff performance last year was legendary. Just saying he's an asshole and I don't like him.

I get that. He'd probably piss me off if he wore a different uniform. :suds:

I can see how he would rub people the wrong way but this isn't a popularity contest and I doubt he cares what people think of him.
The best Bumgarner story I know is one where the Giants were on the road and taking a bus to the stadium when the bus broke down. Bumgarner got out and under the hood and got the bus running again so they could get to the stadium. How many starters on other teams can do that?

An epic collapse in L.A. A well pitched game by Leake but then everyone pitches well against the Dodgersthere is not a weaker lineup in the Majors than the Giants.

That's the way to stay with your team, but come on don't make excuses for the Giant's injuries. The Dodgers have some injuries too. The Giants have a damn good team and they could have very easily won the last two one run games.

3 1-run games is an epic collapse? You continue to show your idiocy by making stupid declarations void of any actual evidence. Did losing 3 hurt? Yup, for sure. Epic collapse? I think you need to check the definitions of the words you use because neither of those words describe the situation at all.

"there is not a weaker lineup in the Majors then the Giants" is absolutely stupid. When healthy, it was one of the most potent lineups top to bottom in the bigs. The problem has been injuries to too many and that stretched our depth past it's capabilities. When Blanco has to start most of the season when he was slated to start the season as a 4th/5th OF, that's a problem.

Aoki
Panik
Duffy
Posey
Pence
Crawford
Pagan
Belt

Where's your weak link? Pagan? Sure, add Blanco. Anyone else sucking? Check their stats before allowing anymore diarrehea dribbles from your pinhole.

Certainly devastating but not done. They still have a 4 game series vs LA at home, where los doyers are 0-fer the season so far so if they can stay within striking distance and get healthy for the final two weeks, that could change some things.

Side note, one of the best things that happened as a result of the Panik injury is the discovery of Tomlinson as a legitimate bat. I'm guessing the Giants try him in CF and 3B in the offseason to turn him into the team's utility man.

I was talking to a very, very wealthy guy one day. He told me, "I'm really fucking good at mowing the lawn, but that's not why I went to law school."

That series very well may be for all the marbles. I wonder if the Padres can play spoilers? :hope:
