So many injuries last year though. As much as Ii despise the Dodgers, I'm glad at least it was him who knocked the Giants out of the playoffs after all he'd been through.
I liked him, then didn't like him, then liked him. lol. Mostly frustrated with him but he seems to have figured out he can't swing for a home run every time. I watched the games this weekend and while he did hit home runs he also hit pitches to left field when pitched away and actually didnt' bite on that way too inside pitch at the knees. For his whole career that pitch was his downfall.
Oh that's a relief...this means Bart is definitely going to be a star.
I was stunned after he won the MVP to see he was hitting .153 last year and then I heard what he'd been through injury-wise and I understood.
I had high hopes for him being a first round pick but he seems to be going backward.
That's what he's been. He's not a regular day player. But something inside him loves the pressure and the spotlight and he comes through. Ask any Dodger fan and they will say the same.
