Should be able to bypass the Phiilies in the race this week.
Good luck.Should be able to bypass the Phiilies in the race this week.
Remember when Steve Sax couldn't throw the ball to first base? Man, that was strange.
Shhhhhhh. Don't say that.Still one of the weirdest things I've seen. He was like a golfer with the "yips".
Just came out of nowhere too. Had never had an issue before that.
Dumped the entire bullpen and just left the dregs of Smith, Watson and Moronta. Oh what will they possible do...Giants dumped almost their whole Bull Pen ridding themselves of the scourge that was Melancon and trading Pomeranz, Black and Dyson as well. Strange thinking.
Those three are pretty good so stop whiningDumped the entire bullpen and just left the dregs of Smith, Watson and Moronta. Oh what will they possible do...
Good news hopefully for next year when Bumgarner leaves. Perhaps Cueto can pick up some of the load.Johnny Cueto (elbow) will face live hitters Wednesday for the first time since undergoing Tommy John surgery last August.
There is talk of Cueto beginning a minor league rehab assignment early next month and possibly joining the Giants in September, but the veteran right-hander still has some hurdles to clear and him pitching meaningful games in 2019 is probably not something to count on. If he runs into any sort of setbacks, the Giants won't push it. Then again, they've suddenly made themselves real contenders in the NL Wild Card race, and Cueto could help in some capacity if he's near full strength.

Didn't that catcher Saltalamacchia go through a spell where he couldn't throw the ball back to the pitcher properly?
Mackey Sasser with the MetsYeah, I remember a catcher having that issue for a time. Can't remember the name, so you may be right on who it was.
