An embarrassment of riches. We'll take Seeger if this guy gets promoted.

From what I hear they have been playing him at second more and more. Second base has been the one infield position the Dodgers haven't been able to find one guy to take it over. It's been years since we've had the same guy start there two years in a row. Seager isn't moving so this kid might be the one .

Remember when Steve Sax couldn't throw the ball to first base? Man, that was strange.

Exactly!!! Forget about the past and look toward the future, tomorrow and beyond.
Always said by teams with absolutely zero recent success.

It’s OK. I understand you need to ignore 30 years. The human eye only has so many tears in it.

:pound::pound::pound: Yeah I have a hard time remembering what happened yesterday!!! I really don't care about what happened 5,10, 15 or 30 years ago. That's just the way I am. :noidea:

Yeah, having baseballs best record, being in the world series the past two seasons , winning the west six straight years , stadium been rocking for years now with the most attended sports facility in the world and a farm system pumping out talent like no other is "absolutely zero recent success". You guys are starting to sound like the 30 year old guy bragging about the time he got laid in high school.

And then all of the sudden he could

Isn't there a pitcher on the Cubs that for the longest time wouldn't throw to first to keep a runner close? he had a thing about that throw and got nervous an threw wild when he did . Can't remember which pitcher.

Yeah, a good one too; John Lester. Doesn't seem to matter though, no one steals off of him I guess because they think he's faking.

Woke up remembering Mackey Sasser a catcher for the Mets. He had issues throwing the ball back to the pitcher. lol . Weirdest thing because he could throw lasers to second when someone was stealing. Check out this video. He comes in as a pinch hitter in about the eighth inning around the 2:28 mark and goes behind the plate and from the start he's throwing the ball back to the pitcher like he's in little league.

And still 14-1/2 games behind in the NL West. Two games over .500. Good luck the last 56 games of the regular season.

Yes I remember that year. Maybe history will repeat itself, but I wouldn't bet if I were you.
I won't. I'll settle for the Wild Card and once in, everyone is even.
