Big day for Smith in the stat sheet. Blown save, Win, Hit in first MLB at Bat, 2 RBIs. Nice!

The Giants have cobbled together a pretty decent lineup with cats like Yaztrzemski and Pillar among others.

A nice little run by the Giants but we saw the real team against a quality team like the Cubs. Good run but we are done now.
I think the Giants found some decent players this year and can make a run at the post season next year.

Only one game of 162 but it defined the two teams; what a winner does, and what a loser does. Ended one team's season and launched the other's.

Man, its sad to watch Posey flailing away at the plate now days with no chance to get a hit. he was so good and so clutch at one time.

One strike from victory and Smith gives up a double. Why is it so hard for him to get that last strike?

19 homers, 72 RBI and .266 batting average leads the Giants. LOL!

I'm sure the Giants board would love to hear your input.

what a season for Ketel Marte. .321/.382/.577 and 67 extra base hits while playing good defense at SS/OF/2B. 7th among all MLB players in WAR per Fangraphs (4th in NL). Taijuan Walker might not pan out with the injuries, but at least Marte is making up for that.

Finally a guy with 20 homeruns. First time in 5 years. Amazing stretch of offensive futility.

Well, deadball era and all...

What?

It is?

Since when?

Oh... yeah. That’s pretty fucking futile.

He actually got to 21. MLB record for futility for not having a person hit 20 homeruns is over
