Phils looking for the sweep tomorrow. Phils have won or tied 15 series in a row after they boat raced the Rangers tonight. Not a Taijuan Walker guy at all. Too many fly balls. When it gets humid he’s gonna give up multiple HRs in the same inning especially in Citizens Bank Park.

You make a good point - I think the Braves were the best team in MLB last season but they fizzled out in the playoffs.

The Braves kept catching the Phils in a short series. It’s tough when you’re gonna face Wheeler Nola Suarez

Alec Bohm having an awesome start to the season (.323/.379/.519, 152 wRC+). He is overperforming versus his Statcast metrics, but they're still quite good and mark a huge improvement from a few years ago (he has a .302 xBA and .480 xSLG). Not hitting a lot of homers, idk if he's just been unlucky (he has 20 doubles) or it's just his batted ball profile (11-12° launch angle isn't ideal, and he still hits mostly ground balls), but either way he is getting better and harder contact. A lot to like about his contact skills (87.3% contact rate, 74.8% contact on outside pitches, 5.9% swinging strike rate; all of those rank in the top 20 among qualified batters).

They had an issue with this guy earlier this year. He has one year of experience so he is self conscious. Harper knows that. He gets to throw the helmet and he gets a sentence. Then he has to turn around and go play 1B.

The rest of the night Johan Rojas comes up in big spots and it should have been Harper.
