Well I don’t think my Braves can make the playoffs this season - the injuries have just been too much and our hitting hasn’t been as good as expected. At least Chris Sale will likely win the Cy Young, he’s been awesome. But I don’t see us getting a postseason birth.

Wheeler is going to get screwed again. Dude has had Cy Young seasons 3 of the last 4 years and there’s always some other guy who is the media’s choice. Just ain’t right. Sale did his work for a team that went nowhere.

Sale has had the best season of any pitcher in the NL, the Cy Young will rightfully be his. It doesn’t matter that the Braves haven’t had good hitting, it’s about who the best pitcher is, not who the best pitcher on a good team is. Cry more, Philly fan, at least your team is going to the playoffs.

Sale picked up his 18th win of the season today and we hit 6 homers as we clobbered the Reds to win the series in Cincy. Now on to Miami for our last road series of the series, then home vs the Mets and Royals to wrap it up. I hope the Phillies beat the Mets and the Brewers beat the D-Backs this weekend to get us back in a playoff spot, it feels weird rooting for the Phillies but I hope they crush the Mets.

Braves are 1 game behind the Mets now as we took the first game against them tonight - Schwellenbach was strong once again, he’s had a really good rookie season. Sale pitches tomorrow I believe, so maybe we’ll beat them again and be tied

Win 2 out of 3 and that gets them season series with NY/tiebreaker winner. With a sweep they are in a great position and hold their own destiny

The only advantage Wheeler has is his WHIP which is .05 lower.

Sale has the better ERA, has given up 10 less HR's. He has more SO's in less IP's. Less walks. Wheeler has been great but it would be a shock if Sale doesn't win the Cy Young. He has been ridiculous. Wheeler probably wins it most years if not for Sale absolutely dominating. Same with Skubal for Detroit.

That’s his whole career. He has been Cy Young 3 of the last 4 years and he always gets picked over. He’s the best starter in the NL and there’s nobody else in the NL more deserving of taking the ball in the big game.

Double header on Monday. Playoffs start Tuesday. Possibly 8 games in 7 days isn't ideal
