I think it's because their starters are so freaking good. There's not a Kyle Kendrick or Randy Lerch in the bunch. But if they keep rolling like this and get in the playoffs they are going to need to upgrade somehow between now and then.

Ascension Thursday so I’m home from school. Great day for a double header. Ball isn’t carrying well at all today. Riley, Schwarber, and White all have hit balls pretty hard on the screws and the balls didn’t play as deep as they usually do (that’s what she said) in that ballpark.

Game 1 was a 2-0 pitchers duel. May be something similar today.

There’s still a ton of baseball left but with the exception of Aaron Nola’s season, Phils starting pitching has been really fucking good. And minor league phenom Andrew Painter is on the horizon.

A 7 game series right now I throw:
Wheeler Game 1 and 5
Luzardo Game 2 and 6
Sanchez Game 3 and 7
Painter Game 4

Phil’s are gonna need more pen. Ranger Suarez goes into the pen for me in the playoffs. He becomes the first choice for the tough left handed hitters.

They should also be shopping for some utility OF.

Phillies have to go for it this year at the deadline. Window is starting to close on these over 30 guys.
