Kid is only 21 and I also dont know what his splits in the minors have been to this point.

But the way it looks earlier. Elly should just bat lefty. Like theres no point in being a switch hitter if you suck at one side.

Too early to react yet. But its a vast desparity so far.

Something tells me this division will come down to the last series of the season.

Benched for the 2nd game in 3. Hes absolutely rancid right now offensively. Too many holes in his swing. Like I said a month ago. Hes only 21 and has massive upside. But this guy right now is all hype and flash. He truly not a good hitter....yet.

As righty: .194/.240/.286

As lefty: .251/.325/.457

Hes truly got to flat out stop playing vs lefties if hes gonna bat right handed. And his numbers vs righties are dropping even if overall still solid

Big 3 game series tonight for the Cubs @ Arizona......

The Cubs got the leading candidate for NL Cy Young in Justin Steele going.....
Cubs gotta take the series........
Even tho they have a 2.5 game lead,a sweep by the DBacks and drops them down a half game while tge Giants are right in the mix of it all.....

I remember Cubs' fans whining about playing too many games in a row in Sept a few years back...well the Brew Crew got Sept 7th off...and next day off is the 25th.

Those early April and May weather cancellations we just shrug off can create shitty make up situations. I don’t follow your team closely (outside of the top level pitching I covet haha) but I bet that’s why this has happened.

Cubs pitching staff, for the moment, is looking rock steady. Now if the bats pick it up.
steele was awful last night at arizona.they only made the score look good after hrs in the 9th inning.i hope they don,t fall apart and fall out of the playoff race with so little games left to play.that would be just terrible after looking so good late into the summer.similar to falling apart in 69 to the mets.

It isn't, but it doesn't matter. Good teams, and the Brewers aren't that, don't let nuance bother them, they just play to their ability

What’s this weak shit? It’s October baseball. Do the people of Milwaukee even care? At least it’s not Minnesota.

Yes the people of Milwaukee care. Especially when one of your best pitchers goes down right before the post season games.
